Looking for a unique piece of art for your home, garden, or office? Look no further--that is, if you're interested in a work with a bit of a bovine feel. This beautiful bovine is one of the nearly 330 life-size cows painted and sculpted by Houston-area artists and seen throughout Houston this summer as part of CowParade Houston 2001. This remarkable statue can be yours. Be part of the fun, and help an incredible cause along the way. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Texas Childrens Hospital Building for Children capital campaign and will help fund the expansion of the Texas Childrens Cancer Center.
Tuco the Mootif Cow in definitely no Hog, but she was created by the talented students at Hogg Middle School, including Martin Jimenez, who created the striking design. Tuco has geometric, multi-colored designs from head to tail, as well as pre-Columbian motifs in black. Martin had just studied ancient Mexican design motifs and this inspired his overall pattern design. Tucos beautifully vivid design will make a great addition to your home.
