Title: The Earth Cow

The Earth Cow was inspired by the awareness created by Earth Day. This envrionmentally consious cow was designed art student, Carlos Rodriguez and his art teacher Shun Pink Kwan of the Jackson Middle School. Planet earth, and its many continets, flows around and covers this striking, bold bovine.

Shun Ping Kwan is an art teacher in Jackson Middle School. She has a B.A. in Sociology Education in 1973 and taught in Hong Kong for years. She also has a B.A. in Fine Arts: Visual art from the Texas Southern University and she will continue to purchase her further studies in art education. Mrs. Kwan is the member of the water color painting club, drawing club, Chinese art club, National Art Educator Association, Texas Art Educator Association, Houston Art Educator Association and Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. Mrs. Kwan is very proud of her students' wonderful art works.

This cow was sold in Flight 6 of the internet auction hosted by Amazon.com that ran from December 20, 2001 to January 8, 2002.
