- Lucy Wiley
The artist was born in rural Oklahoma near the end of WWII, lived in Germany, California and Virginia before returning to Texas in the 80s. Wiley has a masters degree in art and has been working in clay, welded steel and paper maiche for more than 15 years. Before her career as an artist, Wiley worked as a journalist and free lance writer. Wiley lives in Houston Heights with her husband, Gale Wiley, two cats and a dog. She enjoys traveling, hiking and scuba.
